One step forward, two steps back. That’s not a dance move, that’s the best that can be said about last night’s gala event for France Football’s Ballon d’Or. How the actions at one of the world’s most prestigious events, created all the wrong reactions.
Like me, most commuters travel with music in their ears and have their eyes firmly planted on the screen - ignoring the rest of the people on the bus as we are transported from point a to point b. Routine. Then one day, something happenned that had a positive impact to the atmosphere on the bus, and brightened everyone’s day in the process.
Are you feeling blue? Are you green with envy? Or red with rage? Colour psychology is the study or hues as a determent of human behavior. Many studies have found that our choice of colours, when creating an environment, will have a significant impact on one’s mood. It makes sense then that we, as experience designers, choose our colours very carefully.

It has long been thought that the actions of football fans in a crowd can create reactions in players on the pitch. We often hear comments from players on how football fans can “suck the ball into the net” and the theory of the “12th man” making the difference in home games is often discussed. For the first time though, that sonic influence is being measured.
